The artist I chose is Dante Gabriel Rossetti, especially focusing on his relationship with his wife, Elizabeth Siddal. They dated on and off for 10 years, married, had a stillborn daughter, than Elizabeth either accidentally overdosed on laudanum (morphine) or killed herself. Rossetti buried her with the only copies of all his poetry, then exhumed her to retrieve them 7 years later. Allegedly, her hair continued to grow after she was buried.
