Project 1 Sketches and Layout - Quinn Davis

Some early concepts; I was mostly trying to figure out what the island would look like, what the structure would look like, and what sort of interaction the two characters would have.

I began thinking about how the young lady would catch the attention of the old woman, who is in a small rowboat a few yards away from shore at the beginning of the story. I was also interested in how these characters would look if I were to do the final copy in black pen.
